Hi Everyone,

We will be skating at Bowness Park on Friday January 19th from Noon-2pm. This is an informal event, and you can rent your equipment at the rink. Helmets are free of charge and recommended, skates will cost $10 to rent. We will have coffee, hot chocolate and tea, if you bring your own mug, and the weather looks like it will be fantastic! You can find out more info about the lagoon, and rentals here: http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Parks/Pages/Locations/Outdoor-skating-rinks.aspx . To get to the Lagoon from Bowness Road, turn west onto 48th Avenue NW, then take your first right turn into Bowness Park. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the lagoon.
