Indefinite arts is moving back to their old building at 8038 Fairmount Drive SE. To celebrate this, they will be hosting a block party on July 16th from 11:30am-1:30pm. There will be music, art, and a great time.

Cyclepalooza is back—There are a number of bicycle adventures throughout the city from July 13 to 22. A few of the rides cost money, if they involve icecream, concerts, or camping trips. Otherwise, they are free and easy to join up with. You can even plan and facilitate your own ride! You can find the full calendar and information at https://cyclepalooza.ca/

For all of the Yu-gi-oh!, Pokemon, and Magic: The Gathering players out there: Metal Galaxy has weekly tournaments for these games, and more. Check out their schedule of events at https://www.metal-galaxy.com/schedule-events

July 10: Outdoor Market @ Stephen Ave (340 8 Ave SW) 10 am-4pm. The regular market on Stephen Ave, now surrounded by stampede revelry!

July 11: Sunnyside Salsa Wednesdays @ containR (1020 2 Ave NW). 7-9pm. This Outdoor community space has a number of weekly events- Salsa Wedensdays gives you a chance to listen to great music, and learn a few steps, or make up your own.

July 13: International Car Collector Appreciation Day @ A&W (Glendeer Circle) 5:30-9pm. Check out the classic, historic and specialty cars.

July 13: Inglewood Night Market @ various locations in Inglewood. 5-11pm. This fantastic pedestrian market takes over Inglewood the second Thursday night of every month in the summer. See http://www.inglewoodnightmarket.ca/ for all of the details.

July 14: Writing Winning Proposals: How to Get That Grant @ CommunityWIse Resource Centre (223 12 Ave SW) 11am-4pm. 2 hours of solid information about how to succeed in grant writing. If you have a grant that you are working on, you can register for a 20-minute session with one of the presenters for $10. July 14: Rod-O-Rama @ North Haven Community Centre (5003 North Haven Drive NW) 9am-3pm. All vehicles are pre-1972, in this classic car show. https://www.facebook.com/events/239165953308471/ has all of the info.

Big Slam Skate Clinic & Contests @Brewery Flats (1210 11 Ave SE) 10 am-6pm. Local bands, skateboarding contests, bike polo demonstrations, and tons more to check out.

July 15: Blacksmith/Knife Forging Demonstration @ High Line Brewing Parking Lot (#113 1318 9 Ave SE) Noon-3pm.

July 10: Date Night @ Studio Bell (850 4 Street SE). Admission is reduced to $10 per person from 4-7pm. Learn about the history of music in Canada, and play with the interactive activities throughout the space.

July 13 & 14: Chili Cook-Off @ Calgary Farmer’s Market (510 77 Ave SE) 11am-3pm. Make a cash donation to the Calgary Interfaith food bank for a chance to sample 7 great chilis and vote for your favourites.

July 14: Roller Skate Disco @ Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (1320 5 Ave NW) 8-11pm. Admission is $10, rollerskate rentals are $4.
