Mar 15: Houseplants! @ Village Square Library (2623 56 Street NE) Noon-1:30. Learn about the benefits of houseplants, and how to care for them.

Mar 15: Harm Reduction saved my life: overdose prevention, naloxone training, and safeworks update @ Sheldon Chumir Health Centre (Room 3102, 1213 4 St SW) 1-3pm. “Learn about overdose prevention, recognition, and response, how to obtain a naloxone kit, and how to register as a take home naloxone kit distribution site". Mar 16: Seedy Saturday @ Hillhurst-Sunnyside Community Association (4-9pm) 10am-3pm. This is a cash-only event where you can learn more about gardening, buy seeds to start while you are waiting for spring to come, and even trade seeds that you have saved from previous years. Mar 17: St Patrick’s Day @ Calgary Farmer’s Market (510 77 Ave SE) 9 am-1pm. Irish dancing, games, and fiddlers.

Mar 17-19: Earth Science for Society @ Stampede Park. Learn more about Earth processes in a fun, inclusive environment. Check out https://esfscanada.com/event/ for more info.

Mar 12: $10 date night @ National Music Centre (850 4 St SE) 5-8pm. Bring a partner, or go on your own to check out the music centre for a reduced rate.

Mar 14: Alberta Election Deep Dive @Memorial Park Library (1221 2 St SW) 7-8:30pm. Admission is $10. With an election looming over the province, it’s a good time to learn what the issues are. Tickets are available at https://wordfest.com/session/alberta-views-live-election-deep-dive-2/

Mar 14: Adults Only Night: Circus! After Dark @ Telus SPARK Science Centre (220 St George’s Dr NE) 6-10pm. Regular admission rates apply, or sign out on of CASS’ Community Connections passes to get up to 6 people in for free.

Mar 14 & 15: Treaty People- Innaihtsiiyi Film Screening @ cSPACE King Edward (1721 29 Ave SW) 7pm. This is documentary showcasing conversations about the process behind the Making Treaty 7 production.
