Mar 5: Mini Medical School: From Gums to Bums- Everything you wanted to know about Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome @ Libin Theatre, Cumming School of Medicine (near Lot 6, Foothills Medical Centre). Mar 6: Basic Income Calgary Meeting @ The Alex Community Food Centre (4920 17 Ave SE) 6:30pm is an overview for newcomers, and the meeting will start at 7pm. If you have any questions, or want more info, please contact

Mar 10: The Group Art Society of Calgary’s 50th Anniversary Celebration and Sale @ Haysboro Community Association (1204 89 Ave SW) 10am-4pm. There will be a painting demonstration, snacks, and a lot to look at. Please see for more info.


Mar 10: Pie Making Day w/ Innisfail Growers @ Calgary Farmer’s Market (510 77 Ave SE). You can buy tickets for $20 through Times are 10am, 11am, 1pm & 2pm. Bring an apron and get ready to get messy. You will be making your own 6” pie from scratch, and taking it home afterward.

Mar 11: Roller Skating Is Staying Alive @ Chinese Cultural Centre (197 1 St SW) Noon-10pm. Beginner skate lessons and family skating from noon-6pm, The evening skate party is from 6-10pm. Admission is $15 for adults. You will need to bring your own skates this time, but the proceeds from this event will go towards buying rental roller skates for future events.
