Hi Everyone,

The CASS Winter Carnival will be happening at the Crossroads Community Association (1803 14 Ave NE) from 5-8 pm on Thursday November 16. - November 10th is the last day to RSVP and get your name on the list for the party. All of the old favourites will be there: good food, warm drinks, Musical Twist DJ, photo booth, and gift basket raffles. There will be some fun new carnival-esque additions, too

The raffle tickets are:

1 for $1

5 for $7.50

10 for $10

CSCO has new classes starting now- Whether you are interested in sports and fitness, music, or food, they have some great options. Please see the attached schedule and registration form for all of the info you need.

There will be a celebration for International Day of Persons with Disabilities at City Hall on December 1, from 1-2pm this year. This is a free event with information, speeches, entertainment,  artists, vendors and more. Please see the attached poster for details.

Lastly, There is a Modern Western Square Dance class every Monday from 7:30-9:30pm at the Highwood Community Hall (16 Harlow Avenue NW). The cost is $6 per class, and you can start any time

Nov 14-19: Marda Loop Justice Film Festival @ Various locations. Films are free, full festival schedule can be found here: http://www.justicefilmfestival.ca/festival/

Nov 15: Right 2 Love meeting @ Calgary Sexual Health Centre (700, 1509 Centre St SW). Right 2 love is a group of people with disabilities working towards healthy sexuality, Find out more by going to http://www.actionhall.ca/p/relationships_25.html

Nov 16: Vegan Bake Sale @ University of Calgary Earth Sciences Building (844 Campus Place NW) Free to check out, purchases go towards the Alice Sanctuary.

Nov 16-19: Femme Wave @ Various locations, this arts festival will have music, comedy, workshops, films, visual arts and more. This festival is meant to be an inclusive, inviting arts space. For schedule and more info on the festival, check out http://www.femmewave.com Many of the events that make up this festival are free, while others will require that you buy tickets. All of the info can be found on the website.
