Hi Everyone, 

The VSLC Adapted program guide for Fall 2017 is out, and attached to this listing. Water Polo is back, along with the usual favourites—Dancepl3y, Drumming, Qi Gong, Zumba, etc.

The March of Dimes is organizing a conference for people who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and the people who support them. The conference is on October 28th and is “consumer-centred”. The deadline to register is September 20th. 

The Honens Piano Festival is here from September 7-10. There will be free open aior performances and a number of ticketed events. Check out http://honens.com/PerformancesEvents/Category/Honens2017.aspx for all of the info that you will need to enjoy some

Sep 6: Easter Seals Drop Zone @ Sun Life Plaza (144 4 Ave SW) People will be rappelling down the skyscraper dressed as superheroes from 7am-5:30pm. Don’t forget to “drop” by….

Sep 6 & 7: Free Adult Sampler Classes @ Free House Dance (2020 12 Ave NW). 5pm. A variety of free 30 minutes classes will be running for you to explore. Just show up and have fun.

Sep 8: Night Market @ Inglewood (9 Ave & 10 St) 4pm-late.

Sep 9: My Treasure Sale @ Nothland Village Mall 9am-3pm. A mix of produce, artists, and lots of other vendors to check out.

Sep 9: People’s Poetry Festival @ Loft 112 (535 8 Ave SE) 10am-10pm.Written poetry, spoken poetry, music, artwork, open mics, and more.
