Calgary Alternative Residential Services (CARS) is looking for a flexible, dynamic, and experienced Support Home Provider living in the SE/SW quadrants of Calgary to support an independent and charismatic individual in the CARS program. Areas of support would include many aspects of daily living, including grocery shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, medication administration, making/attending medical appointments, and emotional support, and providing opportunities for recreation and leisure activities during evenings and weekends. The individual is seeking a bright, spacious basement suite with a separate entrance, kitchen facilities, and lots of natural light that would complement their desire for independence and allow for hands-on support in areas necessary. Easy proximity to Calgary Transit and amenities is a must. The ideal candidate would be a single person or couple who have experience collaboratively as a part of the individual’s support team.

Required Education:

Diploma or equivalent experience in Disability Studies

Required Training:
