Due to some upcoming inclement weather, CASS is cancelling our planned wander around the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary on Friday January 18th. Stay warm!



Jan 21: Money Basics @ East Calgary Health Centre (4715 8 Ave SE) 2-4pm. This course is designed for parents, to support budgeting, banking, discerning needs from wants & grocery shopping. Please register at . There are also other upcoming session available.

Jan 21: Free Energy Savings Workshop @ Central Library (800 3 St SE) 5:30-7:30pm. Get ideas about how to understand and lower your energy bills, as well as home safety tips and advice. If you bring your electricity or natural gas bill you can get a free energy saving kit. This workshop is presented by

Jan 22: Let’s talk about…movement @ Central Library (802 3 St SE) 6-9:30pm. This speaker panel will explore what it means to design a city that people can move in.

Jan 24: Sheila Adams Paint-In @ Webster Galleries (624 77 Ave SE) Live painting from 10:30 am -3 pm

Jan 25: Winter Exhibitions Open @ Esker Foundation (4th floor 1011 9 Ave SE) 6-10pm. Come and see the new art exhibitions, in partnership with the TRUCK gallery.

Jan 24: Calgary Story Slam: Miscommunication @ Trolley 5 Brew Pub (728 17 Ave SW) 6:30pm. Admission is $5. Come and hear other people’s 5-minute stories about miscommunication, or tell your own.
