Indefinite Arts will be sending some of its artist’s works overseas, but before they do, you can check The exhibit, titled LAUNCHPAD at a pop up gallery at Dialogue (300 134 11 Avenue SE) from 9am-4pm until February 14.

Jan 25: Banff Trail “This Is My Community” engagement session with the City of Calgary @ Banff Trail Community Centre. 6:30-8:30pm. IF you live in the community of Banff Trail, this is your chance to talk about community issues and what you’d like to see in Banff Trail to make is an even better community.

Jan 25: Free Cross Fit Intro Class @ Chinook CrossFit (Bay 104 4600 – 104 Ave SE) . 7:30pm. fF you’ve always wondered what Cross Fit is, here is a chance to check it out.

Jan 28: YYC Hot Chocolate Fest Launch @ Southcentre Mall (100 Anderson Road SE) 10 am-2 pm.The Fest starts next week, but here’s your chance for a free sample from the competing hot chocolate-making local businesses. See http://yychotchocolate.com/events/ for more info.

Jan 25: The Buzz about Native Bees @ University of Calgary (Science Theatres ST135, 527 Campus Place NW) 7-8pm. Learn about the over 300 species of Bees that are native to this area, how and where they live, and how you can promote native bees where you live. Suggested donation for this event is $5.

Jan 25: Calgary Story Slam @ The Pint (1428 17 Ave SW) stories start at 7pm. The theme of this slam is “gumption”. Cost is $5, come by to tell a five minute story about yourself, judge, or just hear some stories.
