More Stampede Deals: On Tuesday July 11, the stampede grounds will open early, at 10am, and the fee for entrance will only be $1.50 from10 am until 1:50 pm. Have fun!

As we fully descend into stampede season, don’t forget to use the flapjack finder app (http://flapjackfinder.com/MobileApps#.WV1CoYjyuUk ) if you use an apple smartphone to find all of the stampede breakfasts through a map view, by postal code, gps location, date, etc. and, of course, don’t forget to check past emails for more stampede fun and events.

Calling all golfers! We are looking for people who are interested in golfing together. Please contact me at rachel.janzen@c-a-s-s.org if you want a golfing buddy. Also, did you know that if you have a City of Calgary Fee Assistance card, you can go golfing for only 35% of the posted rates at city-run golf courses? Check out http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Recreation/Pages/Golf-courses/Home.aspx for a list of golf courses that this reduced rate applies to. Direct support staff can play for the senior’s rate, or accompany someone without playing for free.

Shoebox Games & Café (509 McKnight Blvd NE) has regular game days that you can enjoy with some waffles or coffee on the side. Check out http://www.shoeboxgc.ca/ for more info. They open at 11am.

Telus Spark Science Centre has a new exhibit on, called Quantum. With lots of interactive activities and stories, quantum computing is explained in a more easily understandable way. CASS has passes that you can sign out to visit the science centre for free. Please email rachel.janzen@c-a-s-s.org if you would like to sign one out.

July 13: Adults Only Night: I <3 fried food @ Telus Spark Science Centre. 6-10pm. Have you ever wondered what makes fried food so appealing? Come and find out! Free tickets are available through CASS’ community connections passes.

July 14: Calgary Night Market @ Eau Claire Market. 5-11pm. All of your favourite parts of the Calgary night market are here!

July 14-27: Cyclepalooza! @ Various Locations. Calgary’s yearly cycling festival is back. Check out http://cyclepalooza.ca/ for all of the dates and times and adventures.

July 15: Creekfest 2017 @ Bow Valley Ranch, Fish Creek Park. 11am-4pm. Celebrate Alberta’s natural areas through performances, displays, nature walks a lot of outdoor fun.
