Jul 5: Downtown Walking Tours, meet @ Downtown Central Library Noon-12:45 pm. Wander through The Beltline and East Village. Please register through|1

Jul 5: Free First Thursdays @ Glenbow Museum (130 9 Ave SE) From 5-9 pm you can explore the Glenbow museum for free. This event recurs every month.

Jul 7: emergeMarket @ Fuse33 Makerspace (1720 Radisson Drive SE) 2-7pm. Come by to shop, or just to check out the space.

Jul 7: ACAD Show Off! @ Main Hall & 371 gallery, ACAD (1407 14 Ave NW) 11 am-3pm. Come see high school student art from all over Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, and see the next potential batch of ACAD students show off their work.

July 7: Night Market @ Falconridge/Castleridge Community Association ( 95 Falshire Drive NE) 7-10pm. Meet your neighbours, check out food and other vendors, get free coffee, and entertainment.


Jul 4-8: North American Tournament @ Spruce Meadows. Rush seating is $5 for this spectacular show jumping event. You can find all of the info here:

Jul 6&7: MexiFest @ Eau Claire Market (200 Barclay Parade SW) 11am-9pm. Music and dancers on the mainstage, along with Luchadores, and fully licensed venue, and lots of great food! Tickets are $10 in advance, or $20 at the door. You can purchase advance tickets via

Jul 7: ReWilding through restoration @ Cookhouse, Bow Valley Ranch, Fish Creek Provincial park (15975 Bow Bottom Trail SE) 10am-Noon. This events costs $5 per person, and consists of a tour around the Friends of Fishcreek restoration sites, where they are attempting to mitigate the damage done by park visitors walking off designated pathways, and by flooding events.
