Happy Diwali Everyone,

There will be a number of Remembrance Day ceremonies in Calgary on November 11. You can find many of them here: https://www.familyfuncanada.com/calgary/remembrance-day-ceremonies/ . There are Sunrise and Sunset Ceremonies daily leading up to the 11th at the Field of Crosses on the North side of Memorial Drive between 3 St NW & Centre St.

The New Central Library will be hosting a free legal clinic on Wednesday November 14 from 9:30am-3:30pm. Space is limited and by appointment only, please call (403) 541-4804 by November 5th to reserve your spot.

Have you RSVP’d yet for FREE BOWLING with CASS at SAIT on November 9, from 1-2pm? If not, please don’t forget to let us know if you plan on coming, as space is limited.

If you are looking for more ways to get informed before the Nov. 13th vote on hosting the Olympics and Paralympics in Calgary, there will be a Town Hall-style meeting to discuss the pros and cons on November 7 at the Central Library from 6:30-8pm. There are limited spots available to attend in-person (which you can reserve through https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/cbc-calgary-olympic-games-plebiscite-town-hall-tickets-51823822448?aff=allevents ) but the event will be live-streamed on www.cbc.ca/calgary, and broadcast over 99.1FM.
