Mark your calendars for October 10th! The Advisory Forum will be celebrating CASS’ 30th anniversary at the office. Everyone is welcome to join us for delicious cake and good company from 2-4pm.

Every year on December 3, there is a big celebration for International Day of people with disabilities. This year’s event is starting to come together—if you are interested in having a vendor table or an artist table at the event please see the application forms attached.

There is a new, wheelchair accessible day spa in Calgary! Check out for more information and to book appointments.

2019 Entertainment coupon books are available to purchase through they have changed a bit for this year, and the book itself has gone up in price, but you can get a digital membership for $19.99 for the year.



Oct 2: Cyber Safety Summit @ Mount Royal University (Lincoln Park Room J301) 9am-3:30pm. Learn how to stay safe online by protecting your privacy, securing connected devices, and protecting yourself from social engineering.

Oct 3: Fall Pop-up Food Market @ Harley Hotchkiss Garden (515 6 Ave SW) 11am-1pm. Free food, cooking demonstrations and entertainment. has all of the details.

Oct 3: Work Bee @ CommunityWise (223 12 Ave SW) 4-6pm. If you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity with snacks provided, come and help our community partners with general cleaning and maintenance. Email to sign up.

Oct 5: Art Show & Sale @ Chrysalis (917 Centre Ave NE) 6-8pm. See Chyrysalis’ “artists’ personal journeys in finding and expressing their voices”

Oct 6: Healthy Steps for CHANGE @ Scotsman’s Hill. 6:30am-6:30pm. Add your steps to the million-step challenge to support sending kids to a summer camp. Please email to register, or for more information.


Sep 21- Oct 6: Spamalot @ Beddington Theatre Arts Centre (375 Bermuda Dr NW) Shows are at 7:30pm, with 2pm matinees on weekends. This is an adaptation of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Find out more at
