Police checks must be provided by Calgary Police Service or the RCMP. Please note that if you have moved to Calgary within the past year, you may be required to provide CASS with a Police Information Check from the police service where you last resided in order to ensure that a complete Police Information Check is performed. Where it is not possible to obtain a Police Information Check from the police service where you last resided, respite providers will be required to provide a second police check from the Calgary Police Service or RCMP within one month of the one year anniversary of their original Police Information Check.
